BIOGRAPHY
ABOUT ME
Özgür KAZCI was born in Kilis in 1980. He graduated from the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Yeditepe University, in 2003. In 2009, he completed his master’s degree in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at the Institute of Social Sciences, Gaziantep University, with a thesis entitled “The Divan of Sâdık Ağazâde Sıdkî Efendi.” He is currently continuing his doctoral studies in the same department at the same university. His doctoral thesis focuses on “An Examination of Manastırlı Mehmet Rıfat Efendi’s Mecâmi’ü’l-Edeb from the Perspective of Classical Literature.” He is married and has two children. Since 2017, he has worked as a manuscripts and rare books specialist at the Gaziantep City Archive of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality.
